At the ‘Clocks and Miracles-The First Asian High-end Watch Fair’ which opened on September 25, 2013, Lange showed you a special HANDWERKSKUNST special edition watch. Combined with the two complex installations of the tourbillon, and wearing a perfect exquisite carved art coat, it fully demonstrates the Saxony watchmaking skills and extraordinary art work of the Lange watch factory.
LANGE 1 TOURBILLON PERPETUAL CALENDAR HANDWERKSKUNST combines the two classic and complex devices with the typical design of Lange’s famous watch LANGE 1 to show the most advanced Saxony craftsmanship.

The platinum 950 case with a diameter of 41.9 millimeters is fused with various precious metal designs to attract attention. The dial is made of solid white 18K gold. This special edition combines rare tremblage carving and relief technology. Every handmade detail is meticulous.
Various perpetual calendar displays are cleverly arranged on the periphery of the time display, and are equipped with a patented outer circle of the month. Different information such as the date, week, month, leap year and moon phase display are clear at a glance. Another important design is that all perpetual calendar displays can be advanced instantly.
The classic large calendar display uses blue hand-painted numbers to match the silver delicate dial. This is Lange’s first hand-painted date.
At 7 o’clock, the moon phase display also uses blue as the color of the moon phase disk. The blue color is mysterious and noble under the support of the silver dial.
The watch comes with a hand-stitched black crocodile leather strap and a Lange platinum folding buckle, which is classic and timeless.
Through the sapphire crystal case back, you can admire the extremely sophisticated in-house movement L082.1. This movement is also extremely decorative. The traditional decoration contrasts with the new movement design. The large 21K gold center-mounted automatic turntable is hand-carved and decorated, which is exquisite and amazing.
The embossed tourbillon and intermediate wheel splint build the entire tourbillon device with patented stop-second function. The three wheel train bridges are simultaneously embellished with sunrays. The polished black surface above the tourbillon frame is also a hallmark of Lange quality. The four screw-fixed gold sleeves and a tourbillon diamond end stone bearing are even more unique than Lange’s ‘Handwerkskunst’ finale design.
The Lange logo and version number on the case back are engraved by hand. This model is limited to 15 pieces and is only available exclusively at 11 Lange stores worldwide.
Summary: This HANDWERKSKUNST special edition watch has a detailed case, dial and movement decoration, as well as the craftsmanship and watchmaking skills of the Lange Saxon watch factory, it can be described as a delicate masterpiece. The debut of the watch at the first Asian watch fair in Hong Kong this time also seems to represent the brand’s attention and confidence in Asia’s top watch consumer market.
