Steven Iselis Wins 2017 Glashütte Original Music Festival Award

British cellist Steven Isserlis is convinced that music is essential for childhood development. In addition to performing on stage with world-renowned orchestras and conductors, writing and performing for children is also his focus. Steven Isellis has published three books telling children readers anecdotes about famous composers. In addition, he teaches advanced music courses around the world.    During the 40th Dresden Music Festival, Glashütte Original will present the 2017 Glashütte Original Music Festival Award to Steven Isellis in recognition of his special achievements in music education and his Support from young musicians.
